Meet The Committee

Wild Apple Design Group, LLC

Providing the website for this project was both daunting and exciting. Although a lot of work in a short amount of time - the emails we get every day from the community, volunteers and staff about how important it is to them makes is all worthwhile. You won't catch any of us from Wild Apple swinging a hammer - but there is no doubt that the website and other promotional graphic design work we have contributed is an important piece that will ultimately benefit the family who is selected. We support the companies who's generosity and sponsorships will make this experience outstanding. We are proud to be a part of the Pecoy Signature Homes marketing team and we are honored to be able to assist with the Pecoy "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" build.

Town Planner, Your Community Calendar

Town Planner is all about support and strength in the community. This project was a natural fit for us. Still, as the hundreds gather to lend a hand, we are in awe of how powerful many hands are. It feels great to be a part of such an amazing give to a family in need of some help. We have no doubt that being involved in this project will be a memorable experience and we look forward to the challenge and the task of bringing information & stories through the blog on this website

Paul Robbins Associates

Working for causes we believe in is part of who we are—it is good for the soul. Every year I take on a significant volunteer effort, so helping my client, Kent Pecoy, for this incredible undertaking was a natural. Last year, I produced a video for the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts featuring the story of David Ambroz, homeless in Manhattan as a child, and now, due in part to scholarships from CFWM, a graduate of UCLA Law School who runs a foundation in Los Angeles. In 2007 I created a package of educational and development materials for the Hatikvah Holocaust Education Center, whose mission is the elimination of prejudice—the cause closest to my heart. I challenge anyone reading this to resolve to get involved in a volunteer cause in the coming year….  to make such efforts part of who you are.

Greater Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau

One amazing and deserving local family will soon reside in a Pecoy Signature Home in the Pioneer Valley, and we look forward to working with the staff coordinating the “Extreme Makeover Home Edition” program to reinforce the message to this family – as well as all viewers - that this gorgeous new home sits in one of New England’s most attractive regions.

The mission of the Greater Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau is to market the Pioneer Valley as an attractive destination to travelers.  This region comprised of Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties in Massachusetts, as well as northern Connecticut towns that border the Connecticut River, has an abundance of riches: beautiful and unspoiled countryside, charming college towns and many family-oriented top attractions and pastimes.

Linda Peters, Ph. D.

Volunteer Coordinator (non-construction tasks)

When I was first asked to spearhead the oversight of the non-construction volunteers on behalf of Pecoy Signature Homes and Extreme Makeover- Home Edition, I immediately felt privileged and honored to have been considered for such a responsibility, yet fearful that I wouldn't be able to 'handle' the pressure of creating calm in the midst of chaos that seemed unavoidable during the week of the build.  After working with the committee, however, I realized that the amount of talent on this project was tremendous and was so glad that I had decided to take on the challenge along with everyone else.  I have no doubt that this will be the best show that Extreme Makeover - Home Edition has done to date, especially given the outpouring of support and volunteer signups we have already experienced!

Video Experts

When I got the call to be part of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition committee as heading the behind the scene video production, yes was an easy answer.  I love the show and I was excited to part of this once in a live time opportunity.  Then at my first meeting I met the rest of the committee members, and I was truly honored to be part of such an incredibility talented team.  Myself and the team at Steven Fowler Films / VIDEOEXPERTS won’t be swinging hammers on this project but we are committed to encapsulating the audio and visual moments of this incredible experience for a live time.

Bay Path College

This opportunity to partner with Pecoy Signature Homes and Extreme Makeover Home Edition to help a local family was such a natural fit for Bay Path College because our students, staff and faculty, and Board and Advisor Council members love to be out in the community volunteering their time. In particular, our student organizations spend countless hours in schools, homeless shelters and food pantries, etc. in service.  This natural affinity has spawned countless service projects and has led to the college developing a reputation for truly being a leader in the community.

Michelle Doyle & Doyle Home Improvement

After recently graduating (later in life) with my MBA from UMASS’ Isenberg School of Management MBA program, I finally met (in person) one of the programs best professors (Linda Peters). She very enthusiastically asked if I wanted to be involved in a wonderful project for Extreme Home Makeover. I instantly said yes and somehow found myself as the Sponsorship Coordinator ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) for the project! I thought this would be an exciting project and a great way to give back to community, meet new people and help out a family in need, plus my niece and nephews are dedicated fans of the show. My husband Tim, co-owner of Doyle Home Improvement in Wilbraham, is on the volunteer team, as is my family and a number of friends. In my “real” job I have the chance to travel and see many different cities and regions in the US and Europe, however, I am always happy to come home to the Pioneer/Connecticut Valley region. We have a lot to offer in this region and helping a local family makes this an even better place to call home.
